More than 100 thousand tourists enjoyed the beaches and other tourist attractions in the state of Campeche during the “Semana Santa” and Easter Week holidays.
The most visited spots were beaches, archaeological sites and the state capital of Campeche, which according to Tourism authorities, during this holiday period received more than 100 thousand tourists.
Due to the good level of security, the national and international events scheduled and as a result of the constant promotion in the country and abroad of the historical and natural attractions of this beautiful state, the record of 100 thousand tourists was exceeded during these last two weeks, hoteliers, restaurateurs, transporters and officials of the Ministry of Tourism agreed on this point.
