San Mateo Canul, an 8 year old boy, lost his life due to the injuries suffered after falling into a well in the municipality of Motul, Yucatan.
After a long battle, the small San Mateo Canul, finally died due to the injuries caused by the fall into a 15-meter (50 feet) deep water well in his hometown of Motul.
The eight-year-old boy, who suffered from an intellectual disability, fell into a well last Tuesday June 25, while playing in the patio of a property located on Calle 33 (between 10 and 12) in the aforementioned town.
The neglect of his parents caused the 8-year-old to end up at the bottom of the well. When his father noticed that the boy had fallen inside, he went in himself to rescue him, he was able to extract the child who was unconscious and had breathing problems, and took him to the IMSS hospital in Motul.
In spite of the efforts of the father, the small San Mateo Canul did not manage to survive and died because of the injuries suffered after the 15-meter fall.
