BREAKING NEWS – 25 people rescued from kidnap in Cancun

Alberto Capella, secretary of public security of Quintana Roo, reported that the rescue of the group of people kidnapped in Cancun was accomplished.

The people were released in good health and recognized the participation of the security agents of Quintana Roo and the Attorney General’s Office.

“Twenty-five people deprived of their liberty have already been rescued in good health. Our recognition to the State Attorney General’s Office and to the corporations that participated. Later the Attorney General’s Office will give details,” he said on his Twitter account.

The Attorney General’s Office of Quintana Roo investigates the events that occurred Tuesday afternoon on Santa Fe Avenue in the Municipality of Benito Juarez. According to witnesses, two vans arrived at the office of a call center dedicated to the sale of vacation spaces.
