Puerto Rican recording artist and superstar Ricky Martin closed the activities of the 17th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, in which he raised his voice to demand equality for the LGBT + community.
Ricky Martin managed to heat up Mérida (even more), with his hip movements, his talent and in particular with his message of peace; in the heart of the Yucatecan capital he shouted to the four winds the urgent need for world peace.
“All I want is for us to think about peace, today there is no room in our heads for anything other than light, magic, dreams come true and lots of peace. Can we reach those levels Merida?” Ricky asked the crowd.
The party that Ricky put together at the Yucatan For Peace concert, which closed the activities of the 17th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, was total because it included a select repertoire of most of his greatest hits.
Then, it was time to be in solidarity with the community and just as Diego Luna, Miguel Bosé and Joy Huerta did before during the Summit, Ricky went straight to the point and launched the petition to the local Congress: “Long live love and equal marriage, hopefully we can see this as a reality in this land soon, it would be one problem less for the local government. ”
