PROGRESO.— The heavy raining on the night of Tuesday October 23rd, left flooded streets, especially in the south, east and west of the city. Motorists went through serious trouble Wednesday morning to take their children to school.
Just t as it happened like last week, the streets that run from 33 to the south, to the periphery of the city, from east to west, were completely flooded.
Schools such as Benito Juárez García Elementary, located on the corner of Calle 33 and 62; and Secundaria José Eusebio Rosado Rodríguez located on Calle 138 were totally flooded as well.
Motorcyclists who took their children to school ended up pushing their motorcycles, as in many cases, their engines did not start after getting wet.
Floodings were also registered in the area known as Rancho San Pedro, Calle 29, 40 and 46.
